A Fated Romance

In Xiangyang, the second daughter of a domineering seventh-rank official set her sights on a distinguished visitor from the capital. Bold beyond belief, she went to every length to get him into bed. Fortunately, the distinguished guest did not simply have her killed. He only told her father to send her to a country estate. After Mu Furou was sent there, she had a dream that she was pregnant and was taken into the man’s household as an unnamed, unranked concubine. Only later did she learn that he was Prince Jing of the Jing Residence. Pregnant with his child, she received no favor from Prince Jing. She did not see him even once before giving birth. As she lost consciousness, all she heard was the man’s final order: “Save the child.”

When Mu Furou woke, she took the dream for reality. She sent her little maid to buy abortion medicine, but was discovered. This time, she married Prince Jing as his princess consort, and her life was utterly unlike the one in her dream. Just as she gave him both her heart and herself, she discovered that he had a childhood friend, a younger cousin. In a fit of anger, Mu Furou fled while pregnant, leaving Prince Jing a letter of divorce.
