Zhang Zhidong (Three Volumes)

First of all, this is a book that I can really read. Secondly, it has rich descriptions. The reason why I gave it four stars is because I want to read more books to correct the viewpoints in this novel that are not consistent with real historical figures. I have read very little and understand very little.

Zhang Zhidong was gifted early and intelligent, diligent in scholarship, and dedicated his life to Westernization and saving the country, but he became a gravedigger of the Qing court. His reforms were intertwined with contradictions, he struggled between loyalty to the emperor and innovation, and finally lamented that "his hard work was in vain", which reflects the tragedy of the times. A very good book.

Behind the power of people is a systematic logic

The content is detailed, well organized, the structure is ups and downs, and it is pleasant to listen to.

What Zhang Zhidong said in the book, "If you don't know the essentials of reading, you will get twice the result with half the effort," it reminds me of my own learning experience. I really need to master the method to get twice the result with half the effort. This book is not only a record of history, but also a textbook of wisdom in life. I recommend you read it.

Lively and interesting content

A lot of knowledge slowly unfolds as the story unfolds. From understanding to sublimation, appreciation gradually becomes clearer. Continue to watch and look forward to it.

The detailed historical novel reflects Zhang Zhidong's character and personality.

Zengzuo Zhang Huli was a popular figure in the late Qing Dynasty. With the words of Huanghuang, a clear breeze rises in all the valleys. The writing style is delicate and elegant, and it is a perfect combination of history and literature. It can be regarded as a rhymeless story and a swan song today.

It looks great and sounds great.
