[System + Immortality + Cultivation]
A hundred thousand years ago, a war between humans and immortals took place on Xianfeng Continent.
Both sides were gravely wounded, and their battle split Xianfeng Continent in two.
One half became the Immortal-Fall Pit, the battlefield, while the other was Xianfeng Continent, cast down from the Ninth Heaven.
Chen Liang transmigrates into the Immortal-Fall Pit and sleeps for a hundred thousand years. The System absorbs the pit’s immortal spiritual energy and the human race’s fortune, granting him an immortal body. He is later transported to Tianqiong Sect, one of the ten great sects on Xianfeng Continent, where he becomes a menial disciple.
Hard work mechanic: cultivation speed multiplied by one hundred thousand! (Anything that takes effort counts!)
Slacking mechanic: cultivation speed multiplied by one hundred! (Just lie around.)
What? I still have to work hard?
No! This life, I’m going to slack off!
Oh? So sweeping the floor counts as hard work!
Chen Liang: As a menial disciple, I just have to sweep the floor now and then. Why bother cultivating?
But everyone is born with a purpose.
Chen Liang discovers that the immortal body’s abilities go beyond this, and seem to be connected to the Immortal-Fall Pit…
Sometimes, you really do have to work hard!
