Jiang Qiaoxi is a college freshman who is unfortunately struck and killed while trying to escape. By chance, she arrives in a seaside village from an era that never existed in history, and it feels like she's landed in a little paradise.
In her previous life, the ocean was polluted after some foreign devils dumped nuclear wastewater into it. Marine life mutated, and farmed seafood was too scarce and expensive to eat more than a few times.
Now that she has a chance to eat her fill, she'd better make the most of it.
She also makes several friends from the sea: a hawksbill turtle named Daimaomao and its little buddies, a giant squid named Maodoudou, and a sperm whale named Zhentianxiang.
