My Little Pony: Back to the Source

The story begins with a disaster that tears a continent apart, leaving the Fox Kingdom of Linbang and the Cat Kingdom of Cat Earth worlds apart.

A young fox becomes an orphan when his own people are targeted by a conspiracy. He drifts to an isolated island in Cat Earth, where an unusual cat couple adopts him and names him Huan Mo.

The undercurrents stirred by Cat Earth’s Twelve Sects and Linbang’s new emperor drag the island into a vortex of conflict.

Having endured the destruction of his family twice, he discovers a cave on the island where the fox magic hidden within him forcibly merges with the power of the unusual cats. He awakens the ability known as “Shadow Mist,” and is later taken in by the Valley Master. As he trains and grows in Cloudworry Valley, he gradually uncovers an ancient conspiracy spanning two kingdoms, as well as the secrets of his own bloodline, all while pursuing the truth and revenge.
