In 2170, a major scientific and technological accident pierced the dimensional barrier between Earth and other worlds. Fortunately, the authorities discovered the breach in time and repaired it. However, before repairs were complete, an enormous amount of energy spread across Earth in the form of differential radiation, causing some of its life forms to undergo mutations of varying degrees. People who mutated were called “Hidden,” while mutated creatures were called “Dead.” (The Hidden were divided into righteous and wicked factions. The righteous faction was recruited by the nation’s authorities and became “UPO,” while the wicked faction either acted independently or banded together to form an organization called “TJ.” The Dead had no distinction between good and evil.) The story revolves around the conflict between “UPO,” “SR,” “TJ,” and the “Dead.”
P.S. This is not one of those so-called apocalypse stories, but a story set in the Golden Age. The “mutations” among the Hidden refer to gaining supernatural abilities or undergoing physical changes. Also, the dimensional barrier in question separates Earth from all worlds. To put it simply, this is a crossover of every anime and manga under the sun.
