My Soul Returns to the Eastern Zhou to Become Ji Jin

Ji Jin, Ji Gui’s elder brother and King Ling of Zhou’s legitimate eldest son, was gifted and clever. His beautiful music sounded like the cry of a phoenix. At fifteen, after his capping ceremony, he assisted with government as Crown Prince. When Duke Ping of Jin sent Shi Kuang to pay a visit, Ji Jin impressed him greatly with his knowledge of governance and music. His historical achievement: Crown Prince Jin advised King Ling to block the valley waters. But the good times did not last. Crown Prince Ji Jin died of illness at seventeen, and a Ji Jin from the modern world transmigrated into his body. Thus, a new Ji Jin emerged. In the Eastern Zhou, our great Chinese Zhou dynasty will reform and grow stronger.

After Crown Prince Jin was possessed by the soul of a young man from Guangdong, he became Emperor Jin and appointed Li Er and Shi Kuang to important government posts. He later annexed the Lu Hui Rong, Yi Luo Rong, and Man clans, as well as Sanmenxia and the Yellow River. He consolidated the Central Plains, cultivating virtue at home (by expanding his harem) and securing peace abroad (by reforming the imperial court). He brought Cantonese cuisine to the Eastern Zhou to develop the economy, then launched major infrastructure projects, turning the Central Plains state, the suzerain state, into a city with eight strategic passes. He kept the feudal lords under watch and expanded his army from six divisions to eight. Finally, Ji Jin cultivated immortality and became the Emperor of the Supreme Dao, Yuchen (Phoenix).
