You're Just an Auxiliary Police Officer, So Why Do You Have So Many First-Class Merits?

Lin Ran, a junior police auxiliary officer, unexpectedly binds himself to the Crime-Fighting and Fugitive-Hunting System.

As he unlocks one skill after another, long-forgotten cold cases gradually come back to light!

When his colleagues at the police station discover that the person chiefly responsible for solving the cases is an auxiliary officer, they’re left speechless!

“Hey, aren’t you just an auxiliary officer? What are all those First-Class Merit medals doing in your cabinet?”

Lin Ran: “There’s no future in being an auxiliary officer. I’m thinking of quitting.”

The chief: “What?! You’ve got some nerve! Put in the paperwork at once and recruit Comrade Lin Ran into the force as a special talent!”

Years later, Lin Ran looks at the badge on his chest, his heart clear and unburdened.

“If the world is shrouded in darkness, I’d rather burn myself to light it, even if I can illuminate only a small patch of ground!”
