“Then prove it to me. Prove that you really mean it when you say you refuse to give up.” Fate's raging storm swept across the land, mockingly taunting the boy.
“I was never the kind of kid people liked,” the boy said with a soft laugh.
“What?” No one could make out his words.
Suddenly, he drew his long blade.
A flame that blotted out the sky swept over everything. Countless undead appeared behind the lonely boy.
“You underestimated my heart.”
When he raised his head, his wretched appearance had vanished. He was once again spirited and full of confidence. He was still a boy. How could he ever have believed fate would favor him?!
