Wasteland 1970

In another fictional worldview, the mysterious ruins in Greenland exploded in 1976. After that, the Iron Curtain collapsed and the Cold War intensified. Private military contractors headed by the Iron-Blooded United Humanoid Corporation launched a civil war with some US troops. From the snows of Alaska to the desolate and vast deserts of New Mexico, the war followed the iron-blooded cavalry across most of North America. With the battle lines stalemate, the US military was unable to counterattack. At the request of the US government, the Soviet Union formally intervened in the US Civil War with force.
