This is a story about love and salvation, and also a daughter's ultimate love confession for her mother.
Xiaotu is 19 years old and is repeating her studies, but she and her mother can no longer hold on. Her mother has not felt the love of her grandma since she was a child, and she divorced because of her father's cheating and domestic violence. She also suffered from heart disease and was drunk all day long. Xiaotu could only find some comfort in a small social network. A fragile mother, a selfish father, a broken native family... Xiaotu hates everything that restrains him, and even more hates himself who is restrained. With a reckless prayer, she set off to Kumano alone, hoping to save her mother who was about to collapse.
Suzu Usami wrote this debut work at the age of 20. With the unique sensitivity, delicacy and momentum of a 20-year-old, she describes painful love and self-reliance. This shock makes it impossible to escape.
