The Spiritual Mentor of the One Piece World

His name is John D. Sparrow.

He is a transmigrator, from a peaceful, stable, prosperous country where technology advanced by leaps and bounds, living standards steadily improved, the elderly were cared for and children provided for, the poor could get an education, the rich had the means to make a difference, and no scholar went hungry. It was a place filled with laughter and hope. Then he transmigrated to the world of One Piece, where injustice was everywhere.

The Celestial Dragons, nobles representing the Twenty Kings; the World Government bureaucrats who would eat you alive; and the Marines, loyal supporters of injustice: these were the three great mountains crushing the people of this world.

Pirates who pillaged, murdered, and burned, and a dark world where humanity had sunk to its lowest. Even those who could not accept things as they were and tried to bring about change were no more than headless flies with nowhere to go.

Dreams had become a byword for the desires of the ambitious.

Freedom and justice had become fig leaves for evil.

The people suffered terribly, while those who caused their suffering stood on shore, impeccably dressed and every bit the gentleman.

He had come to this world and become an insignificant nobody named John Sparrow. He had no intention of changing the world. After all, things must have their reasons for existing, and if anything was to change, the people of this world should decide for themselves.

But sometimes, when injustice happened right in front of him, it was simply too hard to ignore.
