Sweet and Sour

After reading this novel, I felt that I should do whatever I should at any age. If I were in middle school or high school, I would still feel wow, love is so great. I have passed the age of impulsiveness. Tian risked everything for friendship. Calling her stupid is really stupid. Lin is also stupid. She misses the mother who really cares about her.

After reading Rao Xueman's "Sweet and Sour", I feel like I have experienced a youthful and painful journey. The book focuses on two girls with very different personalities, Tian Dingding and Lin Zhi. With delicate and sharp strokes, the confusion, struggle, betrayal and redemption of adolescence are dissected one by one, allowing me to see the truest appearance of youth. Tian Dingding's simplicity and persistence are heartbreaking. Like every ordinary girl, she has an almost pious yearning for friendship, and regards the radiant Lin Zhi as the most precious existence in her life. She was willing to be a supporting role beside Lin Zhi, giving silently and trusting without reservation. However, when she discovered Lin Zhi's hidden secrets and betrayal, her world instantly collapsed. This kind of pain of being hurt by someone you cherish is a sharp pain unique to adolescence. It reminds me that I have also been kept awake at night because of the alienation of friends. Tian Dingding's experience made me understand that friendship is not about one-sided admiration and accommodation. A truly healthy relationship should be based on equality and sincerity. The role of Lin Zhi is full of contradictions and struggles. On the surface, she is the center of attention, with excellent grades, beauty and confidence; but behind her glamor, she hides the trauma of a broken family and the helplessness of emotional entanglements. She wraps herself in indifference and pride, turning pain into a sharp blade that hurts others. This made me deeply realize that the rebellion and perversity in adolescence are often a protective color for the fragile heart. Behind those seemingly "rebellious" behaviors, there may be unknown pain hidden. We should not easily label others, but should try to understand the underlying reasons behind each person's behavior. The portrayal of growth in the book is profound and true. After experiencing the betrayal of friendship, Tian Dingding did not sink blindly, but gradually awakened in pain and learned to be independent and strong; Lin Zhi also began to reflect on his behavior and seek redemption after experiencing the test of life and death. This made me understand that the sweet and sour taste of youth is never a single taste. It is the intertwining of those sweet memories and sour pain that constitutes the complete picture of growth. Every setback and injury is the only way to emerge from the cocoon and become a butterfly. "Sweet and Sour" is not only a youth story, but also a mirror that reflects the confusion and persistence, hurt and healing in each of our youth. It reminds us to face all kinds of youth with a more tolerant and brave attitude, because it is these sweet and sour experiences that allow us to eventually grow into a better version of ourselves.

The writing style of this book is delicate and true, and the writing style is smooth. The characters in the story are all very vivid, and I especially hate the character Lin Zhi. She uses whatever means necessary for her own purposes and uses her best friend. However, this also reflects the complex human nature that may exist in real life. Overall, this is a book worth reading and will make people think more about friendship and love.

Don't fall in love with someone you shouldn't love at your best age.

Maybe it's because I have grown up now, and reading these youth trauma literature is really like watching a child playing house, loving to death or living, which is actually very childish. However, Rao Xueman's writing style is still outstanding, and the psychological description is very exciting.

After reading it, I actually feel really uncomfortable. Lin Zhi, Ding Lishen, and my favorite Ding Ding are not black and white, but everyone has two sides. Their character or the side they show us will continue to change, so I can't hate everyone.
