My Gentle Childhood Friend Suddenly Turned Dark

Everyone in the capital knew that Qi Jue and Wei Chi were worlds apart.

One was a good-for-nothing playboy, while the other was the foremost of the capital’s Ten Young Talents.

And yet these two had grown up together, inseparable for twelve years.

For all those years, Qi Jue had lived under Wei Chi’s watchful eye.

Wei Chi would scold him for staying out all night, get angry when he frequented brothels, and lecture him for neglecting his studies...

But that year, Wei Chi suffered an unexpected mishap and lost his wits.

“A-Jue, could you stay a little farther away from everyone else? Could you... only look at me?” After turning foolish, Wei Chi became soft and adorable, and the things he said were utterly baffling.

Only belatedly did Qi Jue realize: had this guy always been in love with him?

So he grew more and more brazen, taking the chance to tease him. “Wei Chi, want something to eat? Then give me a kiss first.”

“Want to take a bath? Then give me a hug...”

But he never expected that one morning, Wei Chi would turn around, fully dressed, and stare at him with a faint, knowing smile. His usually gentle eyes gleamed with danger. “What are you afraid of? Hmm? You’ve been having a pretty good time lately, haven’t you?”
