It can't be a truly tragic story! I want something where the hero misunderstands the heroine, she leaves, and he has to suffer while trying to win her back. Or where other people know the heroine is awful and unfaithful, but still fall in love with her despite their conflicted feelings. I love melodramatic misunderstandings that make your throat feel tight. They're so satisfying.
