Wang Tao transmigrated to a parallel world and discovered he was taking part in a variety show called the Global Screenwriting Contest.
Contestants had to create a film based on a given prompt.
The first prompt was “Insects.”
Wang Tao immediately wrote Parasite.
At first, the audience laughed.
How did Parasite count as an “insect”?
But as they watched, everyone fell silent.
“The clothes of rich kids don’t even have wrinkles. Money is an iron that smooths everything out, pressing every wrinkle flat.”
“It’s not ‘rich but kind.’ It’s ‘kind because they’re rich.’ Get it? If I were rich, I’d be kind too. Super kind.”
“The subway smells like poor people.”
…
Some people were furious:
“This work is total nonsense. Poor people aren’t that malicious, and rich people aren’t that stupid.”
“Wang Tao must be a psychopath. He’s jealous of the rich, so he wrote such a dark plot.”
“This work is promoting class conflict. Where is there any class divide in the world we live in?”
Others understood Wang Tao:
“This work reflects reality. We really do live amid a massive wealth gap.”
“Few people dare to portray the class divisions that exist in real life so vividly. We’re at the bottom, but we have the right to know the truth!”
“Class is an invisible wall. I’m on this side, you’re on the other. We seem to live in the same world, yet a vast chasm lies between us, unseen and untouchable.”
“This Parasite is an epic masterpiece capable of overturning the history of cinema!”
…
From then on, Wang Tao became an overnight sensation, a shining star in the film industry!
The writing is very good, but some things are not rigorous enough, but that doesn't hurt. Especially the "Parasite" written at the beginning is still very good, and the story is coherent. However, although the signing meeting in the middle accelerated the advancement of the story, it was written in too much detail and seemed to have a low word count, and some of it was too unrealistic. By the way, I suggest that when writing in the future, don't write the "audience" so stupidly. There are still a small number of relatively brainless people. Overall, it's worth watching, but the future evaluation is still unknown. If it doesn't look good in the future, I will make additional comments (if it is helpful, please leave a comment: Thank Shennong) [Note: "Thank you Shennong" means the greatest affirmation to the "pioneers" who helped others test whether this novel is good or not]
It's very interesting, good luck to the author
