Beauty Village

Our village is called Beauty Village.

There is a rumor in the village: on a girl's eighteenth birthday, peel the face off an ugly girl, stew it with soybeans, and eat it. The more you eat, the prettier the girl will become.

Though it was only a rumor, my little sister insisted on trying it.

She peeled the entire face off my best friend and stewed it with soybeans.

By the time I found my best friend, she had bled to death.

After my sister's birthday, she grew prettier and prettier.

But when she became so beautiful that no one could compare, I began to feel that she wasn't my sister anymore.
