Both leads are devoted to each other. The heroine isn't a pushover: she'll repay both grudges and kindness.
Jiang Yu is reborn as a cannon-fodder character in a novel. To break free from the plot, she impulsively marries Gu Mian, a volatile educated youth. Want to succeed? First, go crazy! She splits the family and beats up her elders, grows vegetables to make her fortune, and dreams of becoming the first generation of women millionaires once the country opens up, then keeping a harem of handsome young men. But the supposedly mutually supportive psycho just keeps getting clingier!
Gu Mian: “You touched me, and even kissed me. Don't you think you should take responsibility?”
You little brat, you use me and then cast me aside, you ungrateful wretch! Looks like I haven't done enough to make you repay my kindness!
Jiang Yu: “I had a fever, I wasn't... in heat!”
She got touched? She got flirted with?
No way! She's a fine young person of the 21st century. She can eat anything but a loss! She has to flirt back!
She grabs him and lifts his hand. “Come on, give your big sister a show: take off your shirt and show me those eight-pack abs.”
The ending was too hasty, and there were a lot of holes left unfilled, so I just wrote half of it separately.
