The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

"The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" was published in 1876. It describes the innocent American life of a group of children headed by Tom. The protagonist Tom is a boy with ideals, ambitions, and worries. He is a complete naughty boy. He and his friends went on various explorations and adventures in order to get rid of the boring homework and the hypocritical, dogmatic and rigid living environment. He is very rebellious. In his mind, robbers are heroes who steal from the rich and give to the poor. Tom was very naughty and always gave the teacher a headache in Sunday school with a lot of "problems". He is very upright. When he went to explore the cemetery, he witnessed a murder. When innocent people were about to be killed, he bravely stood up to testify against the real murderer. The author is the famous American writer Mark Twain. He said in the preface to "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer": This is my personal experience, and the rest are the stories of my childhood friends.
