This book is written by the author based on the scientific research results obtained by engaging in austempered ductile iron (ADI) experimental research, technology development and production application for decades, and with reference to relevant academic papers and production experience at home and abroad. It systematically explains the latest theory, production technology, process control and application of ADI. This book is divided into 9 chapters, including the development of ductile iron and ADI, the heat treatment and isothermal transformation thermodynamics and kinetics of ADI, the chemical composition of ADI and as-cast quality control, the microstructure of ADI, the performance of ADI, the wear resistance of ADI, the machining performance of ADI, other processing methods of ADI, and application examples of ADI.
This book can be used as a reference for scientific researchers and engineering technicians engaged in mechanical engineering, new material research and application development, as well as for students and teachers majoring in mechanical and metal materials engineering in colleges and universities.

But I think it should be helpful for people in mechanical engineering and materials research. The content in the book seems to be very detailed, covering everything from ADI theory to application examples. If you are interested in this aspect or are studying related majors, this book should be a good reference. But I still prefer romantic love novels, haha!
