Showbiz: I Haven't Even Started Plagiarizing, and I'm Already Terminally Ill? I'll Write Songs with My Life

The bad news: Lin Bei transmigrated to a planet much like Earth.

The good news: This world had no Jay Chou, no JJ Lin, no Eason Chan, no Phoenix Legend...

It had none of Earth’s entertainment industry at all!

“Holy crap! I’m going to take off!”

Just as Lin Bei was getting excited,

he realized he was lying in a hospital bed and understood his situation.

The original owner had a terminal illness and didn’t have long to live.

You’ve got to be kidding me!

Lin Bei was dumbfounded. He’d thought transmigrating was good news, but before he could even start copying hits, this world had dealt him a raw one.

“I just transmigrated and now I’m terminally ill. What do I do? Waiting online, this is urgent.”

While Lin Bei panicked, he awakened the Life-or-Death Songwriting System.

As long as he wrote songs with everything he had and made an impact, he could gain more lifespan.

“Wait! I can actually be saved?”

From then on, Lin Bei set off down the one-way road of writing songs with his life on the line.

“Songwriting god, please, take a break! Think about your health!” When the whole internet learned that Lin Bai was writing songs despite his terminal illness, everyone burst into tears and begged him to stop.

Countless A-list stars and music-industry bigwigs joined forces to petition Lin Bai to stop writing songs, focus on resting, and get better.

The music scene couldn’t afford to lose a once-in-a-millennium genius like him!

Lin Bei was beside himself.

You’re all trying to kill me!

Years later, at the World Song Hall of Fame awards, the host asked Lin Bei how he had managed to write so many songs.

Lin Bei thought for a moment, then replied:

“At first, I just wanted to stay alive.”
