The Spirit Medium's Secret Realm

On Earth, humanity's understanding of the world stretches from the vastness of the universe down to the tiny quark. Yet the universe is nested in layers. From the perspective of a larger three-dimensional space, different universes might be like two pieces of fruit. From an even larger multidimensional space, they might be like two pictures on separate sheets of paper.

Imagine that the Big Bang was merely the pollination of a flower in a greater universe, and that over more than twelve billion years, our universe slowly grew. Different parallel universes connect through wormholes, overcoming the limits of spacetime.

In another universe, there is a beautiful planet with a vast ocean at its core. An alien species with metallic armor and octopus-like bodies lives there, calling themselves the Mechanical People. On the planet's surface lives another alien species, with blue skin and wings, who call themselves the Elves. Liquid from the planet's core seeps through cracks in the crust and reacts with the air, bringing light and warmth to the alien life-forms.

There can be no two tigers on one mountain. The Elves first discovered the Mechanical People while mining, and the two sides fought for thousands of years. The war finally ended when the Mechanical Emperor disappeared.

An Elf was sent beyond the star system to track down the Mechanical Emperor, but accidentally entered a wormhole and arrived on Earth. With its spacecraft damaged, the Elf had no way to return. Over the long ages, the Elf built a vast underground world beneath the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, known as the Spirit Realm, and created people with supernatural abilities to advance human civilization. But everything changed when a meteorite fell...
