The year 2224 marked a major turning point for Earth. Human technology had reached its peak, but no one expected that just one month later, an invasion by the extraterrestrial Deesians would send human civilization back to square one overnight. Fortunately, before Earth was plunged into despair, another friendly alien civilization, the Seifers, stepped in to help humanity fight the Deesians. But the Seifers arrived with insufficient forces, and the power gap between them and the Deesians was overwhelming. They were powerless to turn the tide, so they left Earth with one tenth of its population at the time, about 1.5 billion people… After leaving Earth, the Seifers settled the refugees on a planet called Kepler Ark. Its ecosystem was very similar to Earth’s, but it was far larger. The Seifers did, however, attach a condition: they gave humanity the difficult task of developing their latest and most powerful project, the “Super Lifeform Program,” also known as the “Human Heroes Program”…
