Stop Getting in the Way of My Merit Farming

Chai Yun had been a ghost for more than two hundred years, always searching for a chance to ascend to immortality.

She never imagined that the Underworld would force her to reincarnate and give her a deadly mission.

If she failed, the Underworld would make her soul scatter into oblivion.

If she succeeded, the Heavenly Dao would never tolerate her.

She had no desire to become a modern-day Daji and bring chaos to the world.

So what could she do?

Her only option was to ascend to immortality and escape the Underworld's control.

But the Underworld would hardly let her go so easily.

After eighteen years as a human, she had carefully plotted a way out for herself.

She never expected the new emperor, Chi Yi, to ruin everything at the crucial moment!

Even so, Chai Yun would never abandon her convictions.

She would plan her life anew and absolutely refuse to take the path that would make her intolerable to both Heaven and Earth.

[Volume One focuses on the heroine's struggle against the Underworld, with fewer ghost-hunting episodes.]

[Volume Two follows the heroine as she leaves the palace to earn merits and extend her life, dealing with all kinds of ghosts and monsters.]

[The heroine has men in her life, more than one, but she doesn't love them. She knows what she wants and what she needs to do.]
