The Year She Gave Up, He Realized He Loved Her

A story adapted from the author’s own experiences, blending lighthearted humor, wit, comedy, and tearjerking moments. However, this is the author’s first time writing, so please read with that in mind.

As a girl spends more and more time with a boy, she gradually realizes that her feelings for him all these years were not those of friendship, but of love. Yet she does not lose herself in her secret crush. Instead, as she grows, she becomes a better version of herself. She keeps striving and pushing forward on her journey of growth until she shines brilliantly. The author hopes to dedicate these words to herself, and to all girls.
