After coming down with a fever and waking up, Nian Chen, a Heavenly-Eye-wielding ghost-hunting master, discovered that his Third Eye had vanished. He was frantic. How was he supposed to do his job now?
At long last, he found a way to get his Third Eye back. The catch was that he had to rely on Jiang Yuan, a brat so terrified of ghosts he would climb a tree to escape them.
To reclaim his Third Eye and continue his ghost-hunting work, Nian Chen racked his brains and tried every trick in the book, from threats and bribes to coaxing and deception. He was determined to recruit Jiang Yuan into his ghost-hunting ranks.
But when they fought side by side, Nian Chen showed off his impressive boyfriend skills, and soon had Jiang Yuan utterly smitten.
The trouble was, Nian Chen was too dense to realize it, leaving Jiang Yuan in agony.
With a little help from a supportive friend, Nian Chen finally understood his own feelings.
Just when they had finally confessed and gotten together, Nian Chen proved unable to bear the consequences. The gates of the underworld swung wide open, and the dead ran rampant.
Either he gave up their relationship, or Jiang Yuan would die.
What will Nian Chen choose?
Happy ending. One-on-one romance.
