The Hypocritical Concubine

My concubine aunt was my mother’s dowry maid, and my confidante.

She always encouraged me to bravely pursue love.

But after my father died, she seized the family fortune and threw me out of the house.

With nowhere left to turn, I was beaten to death by my husband.

When I opened my eyes again, my aunt was stuffing a bundle into my hands:

“Don’t listen to your father. Auntie supports you in bravely pursuing love.”
