On the basis of guiding agricultural production in the Guanzhong area, Si Shengzhi compiled "Eighteen Chapters of Si Sheng" based on farmers' practical experience. This is the earliest extant agricultural work in my country and is generally known as "The Book of Si Sheng" in later generations. There are only 28 agricultural works like this in the world by the Carthaginian agriculturist Dogu in Africa and the "Agricultural Chronicles" by the Roman agriculturist Cato in Europe. It can be seen that "The Book of Si Sheng" is actually the oldest agricultural work in the world. The existing material of "The Book of Si Sheng" only has more than 3,500 words, but the content is very rich.
