Fantasy World: With Parents Above and Children Below, I Have No Choice but to Lay Low

Zhou Wudao has nothing but a mortal spirit root. He joins Mingwu Peak, and twenty years later, his master survives the tribulation and ascends to immortality, only to reveal the greatest secret in the world to him!

His master says, “Whatever you do, don’t become an immortal. Once you do, you’ll become a miner, digging immortal crystals for those lofty native immortals, with no hope of ever turning your fortunes around!”

His master also says, “The Mingwu Heart Sutra is a peerless art that can overcome the barrier between immortals and mortals. It can do more than transmit voices: it can transmit objects, too! You’re down in the lower realm, so you have to support your master. I can only glimpse a sliver of hope through you!”

His master adds, “You must work hard to raise disciples. If one day you have no choice but to ascend, you’ll at least have a chance to turn your fortunes around, just as I do!”

And so, carrying this secret, Zhou Wudao goes his own way as he supports his master and raises disciples. An overlooked lower realm among the myriad heavens and worlds rises, bringing an unprecedented catastrophe to the lofty Immortal Realm!
