We Live in a Huge Gap (Updated Edition)

This book is like a kaleidoscope. Through Teacher Yu Hua's writing, I saw various aspects of society. The content in the book is rich and colorful, including profound analysis of social phenomena and interesting things in daily life. Especially his record of his life made me feel like a real and interesting writer. Just like in the book he mentioned seeing Ibsen's face on the plane, the humor and insight made me laugh. This book gave me a deeper understanding of society and made me love life more.

Life is diverse, but so far I still don't know what life is. Lost in a bizarre society, the geometry of life is especially unknown.

After reading this book, I got to know Teacher Yu Hua better. Reading the articles and understanding the views is like communicating face-to-face with Teacher Yu Hua. His thinking becomes my thinking, and his conclusions lead to my opinions. Especially the article with the same name as the title of the book, "We Live in a Huge Gap" in the first chapter, is deeply touching. China has a large population, a vast territory, and a long history. There was a huge gap between the southwest and the coast before and now. As a part of it, how to treat this gap after recognizing it is one's own practice.

It's worth recommending. I like it better. We live in a huge gap, and I only know those individuals, and Korean eyes, etc., But I don't like to read the history of non-football, because we don't understand history or football, so I skipped it.

I have finished reading Teacher Yu Hua's second collection of essays. The whole book is full of Teacher Yu Hua's thoughts on life. The only drawback is that it has many duplicate chapters with another collection of essays, "No Life Is a Pity".

I really like Teacher Yu Hua's works. When I read his works, I always feel immersed in them, echoing the reality. He also has unique insights and thoughts that I don't have. I want to learn something from them.
