The divine doctor known as Ghost's Bane, Chen Ping'an, is unwittingly drawn into the Fengling Sect's power struggle.
When the wind chime rings, all the major sects make way. No one dares provoke the tiger!
Li Zhenhai, founder of the Fengling Sect, was persecuted by his sworn brothers Ma Fengpo and Chen Zhentian. On his deathbed, he asked Chen Ping'an to avenge him and left him a great fortune.
To escape his pursuers, Chen Ping'an took a Life-Cutting Pill, hoping to fool the heavens and escape death.
Chen Ping'an became a disciple of Hou Dewang, the peerless Swift Sword.
When Hou Dewang learned that Chen Ping'an was the divine doctor known as Ghost's Bane, he immediately offered to end their master-disciple relationship and suggested founding a sect with Chen Ping'an at its head, one that would brook no equals.
Chen Ping'an never imagined that the Sword God was right beside him, and at last his wish to become his disciple came true.
Facing the powerful Fengling Sect, Chen Ping'an turned defeat into victory and finally fulfilled Li Zhenhai's dying wish.
Building on this, Chen Ping'an created an unparalleled sword art of his own. He soon won the martial world's recognition and was hailed as the Sword Saint.
In the past, when the wind chimes rang, people demanded toll money, striking fear into everyone's hearts!
