My Years as a Hairdresser

A Hairdresser's 20-Year Journey of Memories

A hairdresser earning over a million yuan a year looks back on 20 years of hard work and sweat, filled with profound memories. I was born in the countryside. When I was four, my father was paralyzed by a stroke. My mother raised the three of us brothers on her own. My childhood dream was to become a doctor, but when I was 16, I saw how hard things were for my mother. So I gave up my studies. In 2000, I chose to enter the hairdressing industry, determined to become a “hair doctor.” I wanted to learn a skill that could earn money and ease my mother's burden. In the end, things worked out as I had hoped: after three years of hard work, I finally became a hairdresser in 2013. From then on, I studied hard and practiced relentlessly. I moved from one salon to another, and then another, until I finally settled in one place. Along the way, I met customers from all walks of life. Some became friends, and life went on one step at a time. There were romantic encounters, too. Let me share some stories about my past with a few wealthy older women, as well as the strange and unusual things I've encountered over the years, and the love, hate, and heartbreak along the way. I hope you'll show your support.

My name is A Cun Lao San.
