Acid Rain Apocalypse: I Have a Safe House

There was a torrential downpour back in my hometown, and I feared the unsafe old house would collapse, so I hired workers overnight to reinforce it with top-quality materials.

But things were urgent, and I had no choice but to ask my parents to cover the remaining payment upfront.

To my surprise, they flew into a rage, calling me heartless and accusing me of conspiring with the construction company to swindle their retirement savings.

They not only beat me, but also tied me up and bound me to a utility pole, leaving me to be battered by the rain.

Three days later, the apocalypse arrived, and acid rain began to fall.

Everything corroded.

My skin sizzled as I screamed in agony, burned alive.

But thanks to the corrosion-resistant reinforcing materials, they were safe and sound.

And no one felt even the slightest guilt over my death.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back three days before the acid rain fell.

Facing their accusations, I apologized guiltily. "I deserve to die. I was blinded by greed and ended up hurting my family. I'll contact the construction company right now and have them remove the materials. They have to give the money back!"
