The dim sun shone on the dilapidated wooden door, and the dusty door bolts and spider webs reflected a hazy red light. A copper lock was locked on the wooden door. The copper lock was very simple, with only a small peach blossom mark on it. The keyhole and bolt were filled with rust, so no one could open it. This is an abandoned store, with only the word "peace" vaguely visible in front of the store... A ray of setting sun shines through the cracks in the door, and the photos on the wall reflect an orange-red halo. They are stories and the life of the owner of the photos.......
(There is no story line in the first few chapters of the novel, and the story lines begin to run parallel in chapters 8 and 9.)
