Yin and Yang Wax and Wane: Taking the Bus to the Underworld After Work

[No System + Supernatural Abilities + Mild Horror + Mild Wish Fulfillment + No Brain-Dead Plot + No Female Lead]

“When will the moon be clear and bright? With a cup of wine in hand, I ask the blue sky. I wonder what year it is tonight in the celestial palaces above.”

A boy accidentally wanders into the underworld...

He enters the place people call a “nightmare,” a “forbidden zone”...

The real danger has never been the endless darkness, but that fleeting glimmer of “light” one desperately hopes to find within it...

One day in heaven is a year on earth; one day on earth is a year underground...

“There's no reason for resentment, so why is the moon always full when we part...”

Years later... The moon is full, but at some point a piece of the boy's “heart” has gone missing. He stands alone beneath the moon, holding a broken sword, with a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood behind him...

“People have their joys and sorrows, their partings and reunions; the moon waxes and wanes. Such things have never been perfect since ancient times...”

Whoever stands in my way, neither eternity nor sharing the moonlight with me will be theirs.
