Disciple: “Master, how did the universe come into being?”
Zhang Xiao: “The Dao gave birth to One, One gave birth to Two, Two gave birth to Three, and Three gave birth to all things.”
Disciple: “Then how did the Dao come into being?”
Zhang Xiao: “The Dao came from nothingness.”
Zhang Xiao pointed a finger, and the disciple saw a miniature version of Zhang Xiao's mental landscape: an irregularly shaped space of chaos, surrounded by a void where even space did not exist. The chaotic space grew within the void.
Within that chaotic space were countless vast Ancestral Universes. Some Ancestral Universes contained countless Mother Universes, and some Mother Universes contained countless Child Universes…
The chaotic space held an endless continent called the Chaos Continent. Many cultivators who had transcended the confines of their own Ancestral Universes had traveled there.
The Chaos Continent was filled with countless legendary figures at the pinnacle of power.
There were the three World Lords of the Origin Realm, Yuan, Luo, and Xue Ying, renowned for their invincibility;
There were the immortal legends of the three Heavenly Emperors, Huang, Ye, and Chu;
There was the legend of Hong, Lin, Qin, and the Three Mengs;
There were the decisive, blood-soaked exploits of the three, Immortal, Demon, and God;
And there were the myths of the three Rulers, Yan, Wu, and Mu;
Disciple: “Master, those mighty experts are so cool! How do you know them?”
Zhang Xiao: “That day, I thought I was dead...”
It's very interesting, and it's different from the old fantasy formula.
