The author of this book has been exploring drug issues in global governance and drug control problems for 16 years among the drug addicts who are recognized as the most difficult to investigate in the world. After in-depth discussions on the social and cultural roots of drug addiction, the mechanism of drug addiction, the emic perception and cultural construction of drug pharmacology, and the social consequences and harm of drug addiction, he refined the case factor analysis method of high-risk behavior and the analytical concept of social drug addiction. This drug ethnography, which implicitly criticizes the theoretical analysis of medical anthropology, uses solid field investigation, rich in-depth interview cases, and sufficient space for subjective expression to objectively, rationally and peacefully present drugs, drug problems, and drug addicts.
