Sisyphus was the founder and king of Corinth. He even kidnapped the God of Death at one point and made death unnecessary in the world. Finally, Sisyphus offended the gods. In order to punish Sisyphus, the gods asked him to push a huge boulder to the top of the mountain. Because the boulder was too heavy, it would roll down the mountain again before reaching the top of the mountain, and all previous efforts were wasted. So he kept repeating this thing endlessly. The gods believed that there was no more severe punishment than performing such ineffective and hopeless labor. Sisyphus's life was slowly consumed in such an ineffective and hopeless work.

A very good suspense novel, quite deep. It feels very novel to use mythological stories to reflect the fate of real people. The narrative of the story line revolves around the two branches of the past and the present, which is not inconsistent at all, which is great.
Well, Chapter 19 of Volume 1 was swallowed up and cannot be changed. It is probably a replica of Wu Ling's memories of the orphanage after she grew up. She also had some tragic experiences that changed Lu Liang's attitude towards him.
Maybe because of the subject matter, no one has read it, but I personally like this suspenseful style, mainly because I like the feeling of being on tenterhooks and not knowing what is going to happen when reading.
It's a reminder. It's pretty good. I thought it was over, but the suspense got deeper.
