Another World: Founding a Mega-Corporation

[Another world + Western fantasy + lord + farming + management + technology versus magic + slow burn]

On the distant continent of Aiersha, surrounded by mountains and suffused with magic, the elders often sat around the campfire and taught the young in their weathered voices:

“If you want to become a knight, you must learn to be an honorable and kind person.

If you want to become a bard, travel far and wide, gathering the stories and wisdom of the land.

If you want to become a mage, study diligently, master the mysteries of the elements, and protect the balance of the world.”

But the young people of today say:

“Those professions are outdated. I'm going to Xinruia to work for Yu Jing!

I want to be an engineer, because his machines roar so loudly that even the dwarves, masters of the forge, are put to shame.

I want to be an architect, because his castles reach into the clouds, making even the ancient magic towers seem small.

I want to be a pilot, because his iron birds soar through the sky, making even fierce dragons stop and stare.”
