I ride the wind, soaring high as Heaven opens and clouds stir. Who in the Three Realms would dare disobey? I once gazed out at the boundless wilds, my white robes gleaming against the ancient, primordial world. How many seas have turned to mulberry fields, while the zither's melody drifts on.
I sing, the song winding around the rafters time and again. Sometimes I recall the past, raising my long sword to cut down demons and monsters. Now my blue-scaled armor is battle-worn from countless wars, the sun and moon shining on its bloodied surface. I look back, but where have my old friends gone? A thousand cups of wine, drunken revelry and dazzling song and dance, yet that graceful silhouette haunts my dreams, leaving my heart broken with longing.
