A physicist never managed to invent a time capsule, but his daughter did. She uses it to return to the past and save her mother, only to discover that there is more to the story. Her father, who was once her mother's childhood sweetheart, had also used the time capsule. What neither of them knows is that a huge conspiracy is unfolding behind the scenes.
