Slay Zombies, Earn Merit

Originally titled Slay Zombies, Earn Merit, also known as Zombie World Brawl.

Resident Evil, Dying Light, The Walking Dead, The Last of Us, Left 4 Dead, Days Gone, State of Decay... and many other works. You’ll find plenty of familiar elements here!

Of course, the character Mike in this story spells his name “maike” in English, not “mike” as in GTA V... The same goes for Jill, “jier,” Alice, “ailisi,” and Crane, “kelan.” So please don’t get us into trouble over copyright issues!

This is an “apocalyptic world in another realm” supported by the author’s “pseudo-science.” Please don’t associate it with any real-world events! The main story follows a young man from Longguo through the American apocalypse. You’re welcome to uncover the main plot, hidden storylines, world-building, and more for yourself. No excessive spoilers!

Also, there may be chapters that are “extras about the main story.” They’re mainly included because web-novel readers don’t like having to think too hard, so some information is stated outright. If you enjoy piecing together the plot from clues in the novel, you can skip these chapters if you like. They won’t affect your reading experience, and skipping them may even make it much more fun to guess at the world’s background and hidden storylines. (These chapters won’t reveal every hidden thread, either. Just so that’s clear.)
