In My Next Life, I’ll Still Protect the Flowers

[Strong heroine + weak hero]+ [Taking down the trash]+ [Mutual devotion]

*Xin Nanjiang's perspective: She's an only daughter, targeted by the Cheng family, who want to seize her estate because she has no heir. They conspire with bandits and beat her into a vegetative state. When she wakes up, she grabs a kitchen knife and cuts a bloody path through them all.

Her father, who sold her out; the Chengs, who tried to steal her estate; the bandits, who injured her: not one of them will get away!

While she was unconscious, Song Yunzhang, a gentle and frail man, took meticulous care of her. People had humiliated and trampled on him because of his extraordinary beauty and delicate appearance. She reached out to him and promised to keep him safe.

*Song Yunzhang's perspective: He's a courtesan in a brothel. Though his heart belongs to Miss Nanjiang, his status makes even secretly loving her feel like sacrilege. He stays by Xin Nanjiang's side, and when he sees those villains mistreat her, his heart aches. But he's too frail and powerless to protect her completely.

With someone's help, he comes up with a brilliant plan. For Xin Nanjiang, he's willing to sacrifice his life.

*Li Xingjian, crashing the party: Number one CP shipper. Ahem, when are you two getting married?
