For the twelve years before Jiang Hanlu came to Gaifang Academy, her life had been smooth sailing, without a care in the world.
But she had never imagined that at the age of twelve, she would awaken a “Martial Soul” with an off-the-charts innate soul power.
With her exceptional talent, she’s quickly selected for the academy’s seven-member reserve team. But can someone please tell her what kind of people her loudmouthed teammates are?
The handsome, refined senior: “Sis, you don’t have to reward me... really. I haven’t been feeling well lately.”
The laid-back, bad-boy narcissist: “Hey, gorgeous. I know I’m handsome, but staring at me like that isn’t very nice.”
The rich and handsome trust-fund “pretty boy”: “I just want to give every girl in the world a home. What’s wrong with that?”
The cool, mysterious boy of few words: “Can I choose not to say?”
The beautiful, haughty little princess with a sharp tongue, who makes trouble at every turn: “Kill him for me. I don’t care how.”
The cute, cunning, handsome junior: “If you still can’t change, you’d better leave here as soon as possible.”
After successfully stopping the evil forces from being resurrected, competing in the All-Continent Advanced Elite Soul Master Tournament, and fighting a mysterious organization that tried to assassinate them, they gradually become close-knit companions who can trust each other with their backs.
But their good times don’t last. The evil forces rise again, and the forces of good fall apart. How can they possibly turn the tide?
(Some settings are inspired by Soul Land and Harry Potter. Please don’t read if that bothers you.)
It's very exciting. It's a very good group portrait novel. The main characters all have distinct personalities. There are only one pair of cps for seven people. It's not the kind of group portrait novel that has to be balanced. It's my favorite type and I will continue to follow it. The first few chapters talk about the world view, which may be a bit boring. Believe me, when I see the protagonist in second grade, I have been on fire.
The plot is smooth, there are many exciting points, and the main characters are all smart, no one is holding them back, it's okay! And I prefer to see group portraits of superpowers and special abilities. This book really hit my mark!
This is not a brainless story. Each member of the protagonist group has their own shining point and a special team spirit. The plot development is both reasonable and unexpected. The supporting characters are also created with special care ❤️
It looks good, and you won't lose money if you invest in it.
It's super beautiful. I really like it. It's really exciting. I will definitely keep following it.
It's super, super, super good-looking. It's like a combination of Dou Yi and Dou Er.
