“She belongs among the stars, I belong beneath the clouds. I’ll wait for the flowers to bloom, then return to the mountains.”

-

When Su Nianzhi was eighteen, she met Jiang Hui for the first time. He held a script and made her a confident promise.

“Become my leading lady, and I’ll make you a movie queen.”

That year, she gave him her first kiss and her secret affection, and she also got the first leading role of her life.

When Su Nianzhi was twenty, she ran away and vanished from the entertainment industry. Jiang Hui, usually composed and self-disciplined, got drunk for the first time and murmured to himself,

“My little rose is gone.”

-

At twenty-five, Su Nianzhi returned to the entertainment industry. The white rose of everyone’s dreams was back.

When they met again, Su Nianzhi used her acting skills and the excuse of being drunk to kiss the famous director Jiang Hui by force.

“This man’s lips are so soft. So good to kiss.”

And Jiang Hui let her tease him.

-

She returned to variety shows, with her boss watching out for her and a rising top-tier star and a famous director both coming for her.

Her first leading-lady film after her return was questioned as a role bought with money and influence. Jiang Hui, making a leading-lady film for the first time in five years, answered boldly, “I’m the very person you’re calling a powerful backer.”

Su Nianzhi sat in his arms, the air between them charged with flirtation. “You’re really that eager to sleep with me for a role?”

Jiang Hui took her lips between his and kissed her again and again.

“You’ll always be the only leading lady in my lens.”

-

When his proposal was accepted, Jiang Hui told Su Nianzhi, “You taught me that if you never forget, your feelings will be answered.”

This is the story of a little prince who waited for his rose to bloom.
