When a heavy truck came speeding toward us, I shoved a spoiled brat who had run a red light out of the way, and both my legs had to be amputated.
Instead of being grateful, the brat's parents demanded an outrageous amount of compensation from me.
They glared at me and accused me viciously:
"It's all your fault! If you hadn't failed to protect our precious baby, how would he have broken his right hand and missed the midterm exams? You're responsible!"
I refused their utterly absurd demand for compensation.
A month later, they pushed me, wheelchair and all, into traffic, leaving me smashed to pieces.
When I opened my eyes again, I coldly watched the heavy truck speed toward the spoiled brat.
