"Where is this? Why are the decorations like this? Are they filming a TV drama?"
Su Wan's unsettled heart grew more anxious in this strange place. She looked around and saw furnishings that were dazzling and unmistakably lavish.
Yet every piece of jewelry and furniture bore the marks of a long history, as if each corner concealed some unspeakable ancient secret.
Su Wan tugged at her long sleeves, which were quite out of place. The wrinkles on her forehead deepened with confusion. Her slightly trembling voice cut through the surrounding silence.
"Where is this place? What's going on?"
She tried to keep the panic out of her voice, but could not hide the shock in her eyes.
As she watched the people kneeling on the ground, their heads bowed, inexplicably trying to approach the woman at the front who was weeping uncontrollably, strange yet powerful images suddenly flooded her mind. They tore at her like a violent storm, leaving her almost unable to breathe.
The scattered fragments lay deep in her memory like pearls on a broken string. She slowly realized this was not the world she knew.
Shock and panic swept over her like a raging tide, stirring up tremendous waves in Su Wan's heart. She drew a sharp breath, then abruptly opened her tightly shut eyes, determination shining in them as she murmured,
"No, no, I can't panic. I have to figure out where I am!"
A faint note of resolve colored her voice. She looked around. The ancient beams and plain lattice windows seemed to silently tell the secrets of time and space, and she tried to find the answers she had lost in these silent guardians.
Su Wan looked at the crying girl. "Here... where is this? How did I get here?"
Sounds good. I like it. Hahahaha so funny
