After transmigrating into the disgraced empress Meng Gugu, Meng Gu was stunned. Was a top student with a bright future really about to become a resentful woman locked away in the Cold Palace? Who could put up with that? Oh... Meng Gu had forgotten that the original owner was no pushover. Luckily, she was a liberal arts student, and luckily, she had aced history. The historical Meng Gugu was deposed and sent straight back to her family!
What wonderful news! No palace intrigue, no having to watch everyone else's mood. With the emperor far away, she could do whatever she wanted without getting caught up in royal affairs. Hmph!
