[Unhinged Beauty] [Yandere] [Mutual Devotion] [Power Couple]
Yue Shuyao is a princess of the highest rank, whose power extends across the court. One day, she inhales a fragrance to soothe her mind, and when she opens her eyes again, her soul has entered another woman's body. Trapped in a mental hospital in another world with no way out, she makes the best of it and spends ten years recuperating there.
When she opens her eyes again, she has become Zhongli Yan, who has clawed her way back from the underworld. She discovers that the madwoman from the mental hospital has taken over her original body. So be it. She doesn't care. It's just a shell, after all. She can destroy it if she likes.
But she's puzzled to discover that the guard who once served at her side has become the regent. What a curious turn of events.
At the Hundred Flowers Banquet, he ignores everyone else's stares, utterly enthralled by the "fragrance" around her.
Shen Sui's warm breath brushes her ear. "Your Highness, you certainly kept your subordinate searching for a long time."
Zhongli Yan sneers. "Surely the Regent has mistaken me for someone else. I bear no resemblance to the princess."
Shen Sui replies calmly, "It's only a shell. How can it be considered the same person?"
