After the Supernatural Resurgence, I Became a Ghost Monk

(No female lead. The male lead is a cheeky monk who kills decisively, even killing women. A cultivation story.)

After the seal was lifted during the Ghost Festival, ghosts roamed the night. Nothing could stop them or destroy them wherever they went.

Until… the appearance of a monk who had been locked in a psychiatric hospital for two years brought a glimmer of hope to the ruined world.

“Congratulations, you have gained Ghost Eyes. They can dispel darkness and bring a brief moment of light.”

“Congratulations, you have gained the Wordless Heavenly Book. It can foresee evil and help you avoid danger.”

“Congratulations, you have gained an SSS-rank Zen staff. You can use it to beat fierce ghosts to death and protect world peace.”

Do you want to save the world?

Wei Chen: No. I just want to become a Buddha.
